Alpha

What other Aucklanders are saying about Alpha.

Customer : I literally had a horrible dining experience at Alpha! I took my parents and partner to Alpha for dinner as last time when I visited there with my friends, I did have good experience. However, today, it was unbelievably horrible! Firstly, they offered towels which were used for cleaning hands and free mushroom soups for all other customers, except us! How can you imagine that! We were literally exclusive of what we should have!!! As a restaurant with a reputation, it shouldn’t ever never happen!!! Secondly, our orders was served way too slow! People came later than us almost finished but we only had our starters! Sourdough was deadly cold! (I had warm sourdough last time!)
Thirdly, my partner suffered a physical hazard there! There was a hair in his bowl! How disgusting and disappointing that was! You know what, with all those experiences above, we ended up having a free pasta and fish Sando. That would make up anything! Overall, there this -10000/10 experience!
I would give 0 star if there‘s the option. Highly recommended not to go there. DO NOT GO!!!!!

Customer : Very stylish place with absolutely delicious food. Only dine in on Friday to Sunday. In winter can add truffle with any dishes. I love the combination with truffle and duck egg cocotte, and the egg royale is tasty as well.

Customer : Wow the food are amazing and great presentation. Only open weekend. Limits seat.
But definitely worth to try it out.

Customer : One of the best quality bakery located in the Heart of Parnell.

Sadly that dine in only available on the weekends. Will come again

Customer : I cannot state enough that this is the best brunch in town. The smoked salmon is out of this world. I definitely suggest the smoked salmon eggs benedict or the perfect classic french omelette. The quality of everything just feels so much nicer than most places and also the staff are so nice and thoughtful and always remember me.

Customer : Simple done really well and definitely not boring. While it’s called alpha the shop front name is sonnet. It’s a cosy, casual space to eat in, food was fresh and flavourful.

Customer : Food are creative and tasty. We like every single dishes we order. Highly recommend their shokupan. As it is a test kitchen, I’m looking forward to try more of their creative food!

Customer : Alpha is Pasture’s bakery and test kitchen. The hours vary but it’s open for dine in breakfast and lunch this weekend. Super creative and different creations, perfectly balanced flavors and texture, and amazing value. Not for those that like their food boring! Pretty cool space too where you feel like you’re almost inside their bustling and sunlit back-of-house.
