Janny Hill : Highly recommend doing a Segway tour with Pauline. We felt perfectly safe after the patient training and it was a wonderful way to go around Devonport. The maximum number is 6 so I would book in advance and it’s easy and convenient to find in the Ferry Terminal.

We hadn’t ridden Segways before, but that was not a problem – On the Mount Vitoria Tour, our awesome guide Pauline had us zooming around in a few minutes and we all felt super safe and very confident. It is really easy and incredibly addictive.
The scenery is magnificent. We collectively said “WOW” about 400 times. Such pretty sights.
Would 100% recommend to anyone. I will also note that the website showed no availability but when we enquired on the phone, there was availability and Pauline was very accommodating in finding a time that works for us.

A historical outing on a fun little machine that may no longer exist anywhere else in the world, I enjoyed the speed and control of the segway that far outstrips the abilities of todays e-scooters and bikes. And all the while enjoying the tour as you lead us through beautiful sceneries and treasured buildings that could not be had in Auckland.
I do hope I can find the time to enjoy this experience again as I feel there’s more to be found around Devonport. Until then!
