Salta Espresso Cafe
What other Aucklanders are saying about Salta Espresso Cafe.
Customer : I have come here a few times and the coffee has always been good. Hard to find a good OAT cappuccino sometimes. The scones are delicious too. Maybe one of the best scones ever
Customer : The group at our table is agreeing that Salta produces the most consistently excellent flat white of any cafe we have experienced in Auckland. It is never less than an 8 and is very often a 10, irrespective of who the barista is.
Salta is the perfect every day cafe. Not too frumpy but upmarket nevertheless.
Thank you so much ❤
One other thing. I just saw Kyle Broome’s ridiculous, racist review.
“I’ve been coming here for 10-years, never again, “Indian” staff member”
Who are you to write such a scathing attack on someone’s business, calling out their race (as if it supports your rant), and in so doing so carelessly slur their reputation over some ego-centric slight?
Actually, when I look at your other negative reviews, I see who you are. You reveal your elevated view of yourself in your one-line dismissals of another person’s worth.
May I suggest that you take as much care in your negative critiques as you take in your positive reviews.
Give some suggestions. Make it balanced in some way rather than being just another online bully, bashing for the sake of bashing.
Finally, May I suggest you revisit your Salta review. Recognise the racist slur, edit your own mind, and then edit the review.
Customer : We sat right next to the coffee machine so a bit noisy. So next time we will sit outside. I also told the lovely barista not to put boiling water in Americano. So courtyard next time…watch this space.
Stopped in today for take out brunch. Simply delicious. I am itching to show you the courtyard, but I was in a hurry and it was trying hard to rain. The place for seated guests was as usual busy, and take out also busy. Because the toasted bap was scrumptious and the iced Americano hit the spot. Thanks guys.
Customer : It was quite cute latte art I enjoyed and a crepe was yum but a bit over-sweet
Customer : Great coffee ($5.50) for large flat white, so price pretty good. Great service and friendly staff. Ambience very nice and outside tables a plus to relax. Will be back!
Customer : I have been coming to this cafe for the last 10 years and sadly for myself and the owners I will never step foot across there door ever again . The fiasco that I was party to today was ins at45 arrived and there was no barista there . I understand that sometimes people are sick so no problem with that , got told that would arrive in 10 minutes . 25 minutes later the barista arrived , got charged the surcharge and waited another 10 minutes . Still no coffee , I couldn’t wait any longer as I had an appointment, asked for a refund. , was short changed by the surly Indian barista who told me to step away from the counter as she was busy and would organise the extra charges to be reimbursed soon . Couldn’t wait and left , to make matters even worse the almond croissant was burnt when I took it out of the bag . Absolute waste of my time and energy .
Customer : Found a hair in my food, utensils were given to us straight on the table which is pretty unhygienic, no water served & poached eggs were way too overdone (they did give us replacements which was nice of them though).
Customer : Was able to grab a fresh, healthy salad here, although it lacked a little flavour. Staff are friendly, service is a little slow
