Nature preserve lands in New Zealand

A nature reserve is land saved and managed for the benefit and enjoyment of the public. New Zealand's best-known defended areas are its 13 public premises and a large number of reserves. A nature reserve is a protected area of significance for foliage, fauna, or features of geological or other special interest that is reserved and managed for purposes of conservation and to give special openings for study or exploration.

Nature Reserve Points:

There are three types of wildlife areas: sanctuary, retreat, and operation reserve. The public reserves include the Puhi Kai Iti/Cook Landing Site National Historic Reserve, Kaiti, Gisborne, Hpp/JM Barker Historic Reserve, and Chatham islets, containing Moriori tree busts. • Lewis Pass National Reserve; • New Zealand's sub-Antarctic islets. This nature reserve features an admixture of fantastic and native backcountry. It's home to numerous different catcalls and shops, as well as grazing nags.
