Joanie Badenhorst-Awasthi : We had a great day at the Dove Myer Robinson Park, where the Parnell Rose Garden is. Unfortunately it didn’t offer much in terms of roses (yet). This backs onto the Nancy Steen Garden, which offers an array of plants and flowers, walkways, benches, and expansive lawns for picnics. This backs onto Taurarua Judges Bay. It’s a lovely bay with lots of seating and picnic options. It has steps leading into the water from the beach side and the pier. It was a great sunny (albeit windy) day out
