Customer : I ordered my coffee which took 5 days to arrive which was very long because I ordered coffee from another company which took a day and when it finally arrived I had ordered ground coffee it was ground so fine it just blocked my machine so I can’t even drink very disappointed in the service . Never again
Customer : Coffee was really good but ambience in cafe let it down, hardly any food offerings at all and only a few chairs to sit down. Perfect for a takeaway coffee but not so good for a family brunch.
Customer : The dog at the table next to at outdoor table got water served. We did not! 🙂
It would have been four stars if the waiter washed his hands after petting the dog.
Customer : Bitter or watered down coffee can really make you appreciate ‘just good’ coffee. Allpress was smooth, well measured, enjoyable coffee. The ‘large’ may not be all that large, but I’m okay with this. Perhaps working on pinpointing ideal temperatures would be helpful in future – is your patron going to ‘just down it’, or walk four blocks in the rain before enjoying their coffee?
Customer : The best coffee in Ponsonby? Quite possibly! My pilgrimage from the UK wasn’t the most comprehensive, but there’s a reason I came here two days in a row.
My long black the first day was excellent and I liked having a pot of hot water for you to adjust it to your liking. Mind you, the espresso is so frickin’ good that I could drink it all day.
The soya flat white today was the best I’ve had in either Melbourne or Auckland. Lovely milk texture with the espresso blend coming through strong. I suppose the Kiwis really did perfect it in the end 😉 My wife’s soya latte was excellent even if it took a while to reach her optimum drinking temperature!
Final note: you can get the city’s free wifi from inside, which is handy.
