Customer : 5 stars for the quality of study etc. in regards to Health Science and Sports and Rec.
However, the admin team are either terribly understaffed or undertrained or ….. I’m unsure
But wow, I have been studying since 2020 and every semester they either don’t respond to studylink, give the wrong information, change information and don’t update me etc etc – always last minute and always results in issues I need to chase them up about. This results in missed payments, and financial hardship. I’ve ended up without another two weeks of allowance because of AUT snail pace once again, just like at the beginning when f the semester.
Customer : No cap the campus was actually litty and pretty cool. However imo tooo many staircases. My legs got a bit sore tbh but ong ong the campus and lectures were cool. Professor Jack Li was a cool dude and gave us an amazing lecture on engineering.
Wouldve been 5 if less staircases
Customer : Excellent venue for Age Friendly Symposium. Very clean and well set out. AUT young helpers were respectful, friendly and polite.
Customer : Closed my AUT email after I graduated. What a stingy University. No other University does that . Email of University is like identity and affiliation with the University, but AUT does not care about their students affiliation and identity.
Customer : The Engineering faculty is a group of lovely and very helpful lecturers, tutors and support staff. The Student Ambassadors are on campus daily during peak hours to assist students with their daily dilemmas. The online services are also very helpful. They have upto date computers for regular student use for printing or quick assignments. Theres also great weekly activities that occur in the Plaza and in the Creative space (DIY Jar Eco-System, Knitting), there was this one escape the room event. Amazing clubs to Join. Definately reccomend, would go again.
Customer : AUT is a business. They are very lucky to have some incredible staff. Keep an eye on the news for redundancies and fees raises, and use this information to make informed decisions.
Customer : The lecturers within the culinary sector were very rude towards us students. One of my ex lecturers liked to pick on the asians the most, racist? My classmates also have the same comment as well
Customer : Must have given Minus for Admission process. Had submitted official academic Transcript twice and still asking for it. Seems bunch of Idiots working for International students admission process. Got Offer Letter from University in Canada which have more credits in their country then AUT in NZ.
Finally we paid fess to Canada and moving there.
Just if you don’t need any inter ational students stop wasting others time.
