Bestie Cafe
What other Aucklanders are saying about Bestie Cafe.
Customer : Beautiful conservatory – the surroundings are unique and romantic. The tables appear to be shared by all the eateries which is cool. The staff at bestie are fantastic- so helpful and kind. The cafe is very clean and bright and the coffee is good, though not a classic Italian bitter, more sour. The only downside would be the prices – paying $19 for two poached eggs on sourdough with 1/2 an avocado is taking the piss a wee bit, especially when avos are in season.
Customer : SO GOOD!! immaculate vibes good service food made with intention phenomenal coffee killer view of the sky tower. so glad i came in. thank you Amy for the great morning!
Customer : Had a great experience at the Bestie Cafe! The side of mushrooms were the highlight of the dish with a satisfying blend of olive oil, butter, and spices! The eggs benedict and pancake portions were large enough to share.
The coffee was good, and I appreciated the offer of alternative non dairy milk options.
Conveniently located off Queen Street, Bestie Cafe is a great start to your Auckland adventures.
Customer : Delicious food. The poached eggs were perfectly cooked and the whole dish (eggs on sourdough) was very well seasoned. I added bacon because I wasn’t sure how big the dish was but it would have been absolutely fine without.
Customer : What an incredible late breakfast I had! It seriously, was the fried eggs for me. Fried in butter and green chilli’s, it was a midly spicy combo that definitely woke up my taste buds and myself, energised for the day! The service was great, quick and efficient. Thank you everyone, from FOH, and the kitchen team, really appreciate the service see you guys again soon
Customer : Recommended to me so I thought I’d try it out. The place had a nice vibe with a great view and lots of foliage. Food was below average and underwhelming. They had eggs on toast on their menu but no scrambled eggs option (I asked) soI had the hot cakes which was so plain and unimpressionable; not enough butter and needed some bananas or whipped cream or something. Had that dry floury feel. McDonald’s hot cakes anyone? Mushrooms on toast was nice but small portion
Customer : What a spot! A true hidden gem of Auckland city. Best bacon and eggs I’ve ever had – those chilli butter fried eggs hopefully are a permanent fixture on their menu. My partner had the hotcakes stack which he confirmed were delightfully fluffy and loads of maple syrup provided. Also excellent eighthirty coffee. This combined with the beauty of St Kevin’s Arcade and views over Myers Park. Plus they are dog friendly so our little spoodle pup could hang with us at our table. Super friendly and fast service too. Highly recommend Bestie Cafe.
Customer : Amazing coffee that alone would be 5 stars. Service was great. Sadly the hotcakes missed the mark bit on the under side and could taste flour. But great amount of maple sauce
