I travel from Sunnynook on the Northshore,just to get my fix of there Pork & Chives Dumpring in Medium spicy sauce…yummmyyy !!!!! There is NO place on earth that even comes close to the skills,taste and love produced by thee chefs here.
I’ve been a loyal customer for 7+ years when I first got introduced by my work mate Brian @Ideal electrical on Nugent Street. There was I identical dumpling shop next door when I 1st started comming here,but now it’s gone and changed to a roast meals shop.
Very limited free parking and make a phone order before you collect to save time waiting..Recommended 10 out of 10 for pork and chive Dumpring
Real hidden gem. We ordered two noodles dishes large and medium and a dessert and drink. Noodles were great and it soaked the flavour well from the soup. The happy yum jelly was refreshing and different. Highly recommend.
Visited this famous spot. Ordered wide noodles and Wontons in D1 soup mild. Noodles didn’t stand out too much and the sauce wasn’t as tasty as the wontons soup. Wontons were really tasty and the soup was 100% delicious. Mild is still abit spicy but this is worth it. Would love more meat in the noodles, prices were pretty reasonable. Paid $26.50 for both meals. Only open for takeaways, has lots of parking on the main road or the side streets.
First time hitting this place up last night. Heard lots of good things about it. Was not disappointed. Really delicious food. The spicy and special sauces are super delicious. Highly recommend!
Been eating here every other weekend. Their fried rice, noodles, dumplings in spicy sauce all are just brilliant. This is a must visit for anyone in Auckland. Glad to have found this place. Tip – #1 extremely popular and crowded in the evening, so call in to order. #2 mild is also spicy.
One of my favourite go-to dumpling places. Service is efficient and quick. The pork & chive dumplings in spicy sauce are a little on the oily side but still delicious.
Was a huge line when trying to get our orders yesterday. We had the dan dan noodles, dumplings and also chicken wonton soup. The dan dan noodles was good. The dumplings although very oily, was very tasty but I think quite unhealthy. The chicken wonton soup was not as good as I initially imagine. As I have had chicken wonton soup before that has a very clean chicken broth, this was nothing like that. The broth was just ok for me, the wonton itself was not bad. I can see why they have long line though, as the dumplings and noodles have good flavours to keep people coming back.
