Thilal Pandith : Little Shoal Bay is a nice relaxing family friendly beach located between the Birkenhead and Northcote Point of the North Sore region in Auckland. It can be accessed by Maritime Terrace from the Birkenhead end or Queen St/ Rodney Rd/ Church Rd in the Northcote Point. It is a destination on its own, having a picnic area with BBQ, toilet facilities, a small beach for swimming, a playground and over the road, bowling club, a tennis court and a basketball court. It also is one access point to the popular Le Roy’s reserve which has a couple of nice bush tracks where you can spend hours exploring wetland and land-based fauna and flora.
