Olaf’s Artisan Bakery Cafe
What other Aucklanders are saying about Olaf’s Artisan Bakery Cafe.
Customer : Some times plate is served in a too fancy way. Too much really if then after receiving it I will have to prepare the sandwich myself. No sense. Also It was not that busy but food took quite a while to get my table. Table was not tidy as well. Needs and can improve.
Customer : Good coffees but extremely pricey for the size (will not be back for coffees because of this).
On the other hand would come back for the bread – awesome prices for quality artesian bread, great selection and helpful staff.
Customer : Had an oat flat white & bought one of the pane loaves – both were fantastic! The coffee bean had a nice bitter turn and the oat milk used tasted really high quality.
Service was fantastic even on a really busy day – our server helped us pick a tasty loaf that we were happy with.
Only downsides were that it was a bit busy but that’s just the sign of a popular joint! We got takeaway so we weren’t too phased here.
It also came to ~$7 for a large flat white with oat milk which is definitely on the more expensive side but in my opinion it’s one of the best coffees I’ve had in Auckland.
Customer : Great coffee and muffin coupled with warm service from wait staff! Huge selection of bread and cabinet food with reasonable 🙂
Customer : Worst hot chocolate ever, it looked and tasted like hot milk. The coffee was also mediocre, but the salmon bagel was good, although it did seem a bit unnecessary to have to assemble it yourself.
Customer : Amazing service, food & coffee arrived at the same time, the breakfast was delicious. We have ordered breakfast gourment and halloumi & zucchini fritters!
Customer : Kind and thoughtful staff. Attentive to cleaning tables, supplying water etc. Prompt to take order for coffee and food. We were not hungry and Olaf’s were ok to let us share roasted sandwich. The simplicity does not prepare one for the explosion of delicious flavour when you take the first bite. We will be back to try other menu items…
Customer : Busy spot on a Saturday morning but worth the effort. Service was good and we didn’t have to wait long for our meals or coffee. Bit of a diy assembly job for the smelt bagel but that’s no biggie. Our group of four were all pleased with meals.
