Will Williams : We rang around and got quotes for cleaning the kitchen, 2 bathrooms and the oven for an end of tenancy in a 3 bedroom house in Christchurch. Chose Premium Cleaning off the back of this. They rocked up 2.5 hours late with no apology or nothing. Then 30 minutes into the clean I got a call saying they needed an extra $200 to complete the clean AS it was a 3 bedroom house not a 1 bedroom house. They never were and were never asked to do anything with the bedrooms. We refused to pay the extra as they had quoted originally for doing the kitchen and bathrooms in a 3 bedroom house. So they pulled the cleaner out. Would never use them again as unethical and terrible communication

Hamish Jamnadas : Really poor experience all around – Cleaner did a good job but clearly overworked and underpaid. No respect from the company towards the worker or the client – just get pushed to different areas of the company with no recourse.

Do not use this company. You can see from recent reviews that they have taken a downward spiral.

Melissa Davis : WORST CARPET CLEANING! We hired them for a move out clean and carpet shampoo. When we moved out, the carpet needed shampooing per rental agreement. There were no obvious stains. After the 72 hour policy window for any complaints, the carpet was still wet, and smelled VERY musty.
The off-white carpet had a LARGE, NEW rusty stain in the lounge, as if it had been cleaned with dirty water. It smelled of it as well. I tried calling to discuss this, and got transferred to a disconnected number. I tried to call back immediately after, and was unable to speak to anyone, so I left a message. I called the following 2 days, left messages, with no call back.
I emailed, but due to the 72 hour window policy, this company is taking ZERO responsibility and isn’t offering a refund or to reshampoo, not just the lounge but the WHOLE HOUSE.
On inspection by our previous landlord, all the rooms had remaining dog hair fluffed up EVERYWHERE. It was like they didn’t even vacuum.
So now we are stuck paying to clean the whole house AGAIN, and may also have to pay to get the carpet replaced in the lounge.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! If you do, and have any issues, you will not get any support or communication from them.

Lee Davies Lacson : No show at the day of cleaning. If I haven’t phoned them, i will be waiting forever without a cleaner in the place we rented. Don’t recommend to anyone. If only google will allow me to give zero stars!

Alex King : Edit: on posting this review, Premium contacted me after reviewing my calls and agreed I was told the service would be completed no matter the time taken. They refunded me my cancellation fee. I hope this provides better service for others in future.

Appalling service from Premium. Had booked a month in advance for a move-out clean at 10am. I was waiting at the property when I was called at 10.15am to advise no one would be coming and they could send someone at 3pm “guaranteed”. At 3pm I got a call from a sub-contractor saying they’ve just seen the job request come through but they were on an all-day job so wouldn’t get there till 5pm. I had already shuffled my entire day around for a 3pm reschedule and could no longer get a hold of Premium Clean. I was told at booking that I wasn’t to worry about how long it takes “the cleaners stay until the job is done”. When the sub-contractor arrived, Premium Clean spoke to me via a call he had made to them that they would have to charge me more as he’s quoted a longer job. I said there was no way I was paying more after the appalling communication and service received so far, and I had lost deposits on other things I’d had to reschedule that afternoon. Premium said if I didn’t pay more then the cleaners would only be able to work so long and make the place so clean, in contrast to what was said when I booked. I cancelled the service and argued that this wasn’t a change of mind cancellation, this was in response to their lack of communication, misinformation, no recompense for mucking me around, and now trying to charge me more. They still charged me the cancellation fee. Would have expected better apologies and service from a well-established company.

David Chakravarty : Worst service by this company. They charged me extra. The person who came in did a good job. However, vaccum could not be done. Premium Clean didn’t refund the money which they charged for vaccum. When I asked for it their team was most unhelpful and rude.
No complains with the cleaning lady. But this company is a fraud as they charge money for services not provided then don’t respond to you. Please beware and do not use them.

If you’re looking to save yourself stress and time during a busy moving time, please look for another company or do the cleaning yourself. The ‘cleaning’ was done twice, both ‘attempts to a very poor standard. The cleaners were late, rude, argumentative and didn’t communicate well. I wouldn’t enjoy having them near my home if used on a regular basis. One of them said: “we just wipe down” while working on a ‘deep clean’ that was booked. the first time, It was approx. 55 minutes from the moment they arrived to the moment they called to say they were done. 55 minutes to do a deep bond clean??? I was surprised to see that their cleaning products were basic supermarket ones: washing up liquid, some spray and a couple of rags. They didn’t have step ladders to get to any harder to reach areas or windows, which were part of the deal I paid for.

Just all round not good.

Eleshea D’Souza : Update Dec 2022:

Downgraded from 2 to 1 stars. 7 months after last using them and requesting my card details be removed, I have been charged on 20 Dec $109 for a clean I have not booked. Emailed them and I never got a response but they eventually reversed. Was very annoyed they never deleted by card details, which I feel is a privacy breach.

Cleaners vaped inside my house when I had a 6 month old baby. Would not recommend. Very poor communication from the admin team, below average house cleaning (the cleaners don’t seem to be aware of the cleaning list they advertise to customers) and also several no-shows and last minute cancellations.

My old cleaner retired so I was looking for a new regular cleaner, I booked them for 3 times to trial them. I have a small baby so try to plan in advance. They cancelled on the day or the day before 2 out of the 3 times. One of the times they moved the time from 10am to 2pm and tell me the day before. At the new time I was waiting for 30 mins and the cleaner didn’t show up, I called them and they told me the cleaner wasn’t coming so moved to the next day. The cleaner arrived over an hour late the next day and refused to do the cleaning on their list they marketed (changing linen). I think they hadn’t communicated what’s included in the clean. Took about 1 hour of phone calls to sort, they had to come back and redo the clean, arriving an hour late again.

Overall wasted 3 days of mine, had to cancel my plans and they don’t respect your time. Not worth the effort.

2 stars for the good job done by the window cleaners.
