Customer : Nice quiet location and beautiful outdoor seating area! So instagram-able lol. Only been once but my partner and I cannot stop raving about it to anyone that asks us for cafe recommendations in central AKL. The food portion was so generous and the pricing was affordable for the quality and quantity you’re paying for. The food also felt homemade in the best possible way. You know that feeling of eating something that was made with so much thought and care? And eating it not only warms your stomach because the food is hot but also warms your soul? Yeah, it was that good. Looking forward to the day we can sit here on a sunny weekend morning for breakfast again! Oh and yes, the coffees were good! We didn’t order anything special but they were still yum. All in all 5!!

Customer : Made a visit to Queenies Lunch Room for mother’s day lunch on the recommendation of a friend. Everything was great. Friendly service from the staff, food was presented well and tasted great. The coffee was delicious and would be my daily if I lived locally. Most importantly, everything was reasonably priced.
*Shoutout to the exterior with the overhanging vines, created a special atmosphere.
Customer : Awesome cozy cafe in the city! The Reuben and Chicken were both flavorful and had generous servings.
The flat white was good and strong.

Customer : Nice little place close to Ponsonby. Very charming and stylish. We ordered coffee and eggs Benedict which comes with pork instead bacon. Also some delicious greens. Very creamy and tasty. Staff is friendly and competent. Everything you might expect from a cafe. Recommended!
Btw…they have delicious vegan choices…my vegan friend loves it!

Customer : Queenies is an excellent café with strong form on food. Serving Supreme coffee from Wellington, you’re spilt with masterly coffee-making that may induce a second cup.
The food on offer is all superb. Don’t expect a boring menu, as Queenies has some delicious renditions of essentials, like Açai bowls and kedgeree, along with more interesting and brilliantly filling takes on Turkish eggs. The soup specials are ideal for warming yourself out of a winter funk.
The café’s atmosphere is perfect with high, vaulted ceiled and only limited seats. It feels cosy but not cramped. Outdoor seating ensures you won’t miss out, and makes for a great summer tome basking spot.
As you settle the bill, have a good peruse at the tempting treats in the cabinet. You’ll be hard pressed to pass up the ginger cake, fruit loaf, brownies or scones!! Try all of them, go on!
