Customer : Staff were friendly and the portions were good. Food was really tasty and the kids liked it too. Just perhaps lacking on the small details…. we ordered the full breakfast and it would have been nice if the toast came with butter and maybe some t-sauce for the sausages and hash brown. But other than that; I would definitely go back

Customer : We stopped here for breakfast for my wife’s birthday and we couldn’t have picked a better spot. We are shocked this place doesn’t have a higher rating. This place was fantastic! We both started with a mocha each (really good). My wife got the Bushman’s Breakfast (big breakfast) and I got the Eggs Benedict on hash browns. Both arrived hot and packed full of flavour and a great portion size. I consider myself a connoisseur of a bene and usually reserve for special occasions and all I can say is wow! This was the best one I have had to date. It was a quieter morning for the establishment (Sunday) and the service was quick. Staff were really friendly and inviting. Will definitely be back soon with friends and family.

Customer : Nice little cafe. Staff are friendly and attentive. Pizza was delish but they don’t have the option of thin crust. The buffalo wings that we ordered looks sad because the sauce is not put on we ask for mild spicy and the chef didn’t put it on so we can adjust how hot we want it. Service was quick as well. Price is reasonable too.
Customer : Haven’t been to the restaurant physically yet but ordered Ubereats many times. Definitely recommend this place as food is always very fresh with good quality, not even mentioning the decent amount of portion! Love love love Remuera Local!
Customer : We tried this place yesterday for lunch via first table.
I had salmon salad which was alright and my husband had lamb shank, which was so tough and chewy in the first place.The lady replaced after we said it is very tough and got us another plate but seemed like the same was reheated and put on the plate.Our booking was at 12 and they had three tables at that stage. The lady staff was clearly busy as she was making drinks and serving meals. 20 minutes no acknowledgement no water. The guy who dropped us bottle of water seemed like he didn’t want to be there. Then came my cider, he just dumped the bottle on the table.
The lady was however nicer than him and offered a glass for my cider.
No meal check no acknowledgement seemed like we were not even there. Might have been because we booked through first table but they thought we had some GrabOne voucher upon paying. The lady asked my husband how was the lamb upon payment and he said it was still tough and chewy but no apologies and no acknowledgement whatsoever.
I was very excited to try this place but definitely it was tarnished.

PS. Chicken Parmesan at the coffee shop upstairs was on point
